NEPHRO is the leading information system for dialysis and nephrologie. The program enables an easy and safe organisation of dialysis centres and nephrological practices. Despite its broad range of functions the system is very clear and easy to use. At first sight all medical data of the individual patient is available. Connecting dialysis, lab and diagnostic devices can easily be done as well as the billing of the treatment. With the help of the information system NEPHRO, all documentation and billing occurring in a dialysis unit or practice can be processed in an easy and comfortable way. The integrated file card and automated writing of doctors' letters support the doctors in charge to diagnose and treat chronically ill patients. NEPHRO's dialysis module enables the medical staff to spend more time with the patients. Due to its modular construction, regarding the optional additional modules and the possibility to connect all standard diagnostic devices, NEPHRO can be individually adjusted for each practice. The information system NEPHRO, after initial installation, remains easy to adjust to increasing requirements. Data can be imported from external systems without problems. Nephro provides a very efficient programme module for importing patients'data, file card data and billing data in the BDT-format from external systems into the NEPHRO database. This drastically reduces the effort that has to be made to change over from existing IT-systems to the Nephro information system.
